Glacier Ridge Lodge -DESCRIPTION
You are cordially invited to make Glacier Ridge your own private Breckenridge vacation lodge. The Glacier Ridge Lodge is a luxurious private residence designed for casual entertaining and located to provide convenient access to town and the slopes. The free shuttle system, which takes you to all base areas as well as around town, is approximately 150 yards away. Down town is within walking distance, with breathtaking views of the town of Breckenridge with Mount Baldy towering over the town, most of the way. The Nordic center, with its cross country trail system, is a short walk. Being near a shuttle stop is a great convenience for your entire party. No more coordinating of schedules for rides. Just park your car and forget it during your stay. Glacier Ridge Lodge has a special setting. Perched on a ridge, you can enjoy a quiet valley from your sun-splashed back deck, with views of the town of Breckenridge and snow-capped peaks. The town lights at night are spectacular. Enjoy the morning sun from the kitchen, breakfast nook, the family room, and the master bath. The interior of Glacier Ridge Lodge is full of mountain charm. A vaulted ceiling in the living room with a stone floor-to-ceiling fireplace as its centerpiece, greets you as enter through the front door. The gourmet kitchen has custom cabinetry, granite slab countertops, bar seating, and upgraded appliances. Especially nice is the intimate hearth room with fireplace and breakfast nook overlooking the valley and Mount Baldy. There is a powder room on the main floor for everyone's convenience. The main floor also features a den with two easy chairs and a card table with seating for four, a family room with wet bar and TV, the master suite (king) with sitting area and fireplace, and a two-car garage. The lower level has a wonderful recreation lounge with TV and pool table, and it has a walkout to the patio and hot tub. The lower level also features a killer laundry room The six bedrooms sleep 16 comfortably. Upstairs is a queen suite with private bath, and two other bedrooms (queen bed, double bed plus sofa sleeper) with a shared bath. The main floor has the aforementioned master suite. and the lower level has two other bedroom suites, each with full baths: bedroom 5 with king bed and sofa sleeper, and bedroom 6 with queen bed and desk area plus walk out to patio and hot tub. There are numerous other sitting areas throughout the house where you can enjoy a book from the library or catch up on your email using the free high speed wireless internet. The Glacier Ridge Lodge is a stunning residence for large parties looking for upscale accommodations with a view and shuttle-in/shuttle-out, walk to gondola access to the slopes, all in a private setting, yet still in-town.
