DESCRIPTION The Chateaux-the Village Resort's crown jewel-is a wonderful accommodation. The Village Resort has perhaps the best location in Breckenridge--it is both "in town" and "on the slope"! The QuickSilver SuperChair double-six high speed chair is adjacent to the complex, making the Village Resort a ski in/ski out property. The children's ski school is right behind the complex! This prime location means convenience for you and extra safety for your children, since there are no streets to cross to ski. The lift is right out your back door. You spend more time skiing, less time waiting. Main Street is only a 5 minute walk. In addition, there are free shuttles, which stop nearby, to take you around town, to the other base areas. The Summit Stage takes you to the other Summit County ski areas: Keystone, A-Basin, and Copper Mountain. Shops and restaurants are on the premises. Apres-ski, enjoy the on-premises heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jetted spas. Summer time, you can relax alongside the alpine stream, fish in the Blue River, or just enjoy the view of the Ten Mile range. Not only are you located at the lift, but you are also located in town. What do these location amenities mean to you? When you are on vacation, location is critical. For a large party, ski in/ski out, free shuttle, and walk-to-town convenience is very important.
